Great super and insurance
attract great people.

In a competitive labour market, your employee benefits package is part of your employer brand. A well-structured corporate super and group insurance program — one that genuinely protects your people and their families — sends a clear message about the kind of organisation you are.

AGS Financial Group works closely with HR, Finance and Payroll teams to design, implement and manage corporate superannuation and group insurance programs. We handle the complexity so your team can focus on your people, not on compliance paperwork.

— The AGS difference

Specialists since 1997.
Still here.

Since 1997, AGS Financial Group has managed corporate superannuation for organisations across Australia. We have seen corporate super evolve through multiple legislative changes, fund mergers and technology shifts — and our processes are built around staying ahead of every change so your program remains compliant and competitive.

Unlike standalone corporate super consultants, AGS also provides financial planning, accounting, mortgage broking and SMSF services. That means your employees have access to genuinely comprehensive individual financial advice — not just a super fund brochure — if they want it.

  • Policy Committee support — We manage the Policy Committee establishment, meetings, minutes and legislative compliance — you retain oversight without the administrative burden.
  • Claims assistance — When an employee needs to make a claim, we are there to guide them through the process and ensure a prompt resolution.
  • Integrated individual advice — Employees who want personal financial advice — SMSF, retirement planning, mortgage or estate planning — have access to the full AGS service through the same firm.

What size business is corporate super suitable for?

Corporate superannuation programs are beneficial for businesses of many sizes — from smaller businesses with 50 employees through to larger organisations. The right structure depends on your workforce profile, your existing arrangements and your goals. We assess this in an initial conversation at no cost.

What is a Policy Committee and do we need one?

A Policy Committee is a governance body required by legislation for certain types of employer super arrangements. It provides employee representation in the management of the fund. AGS manages the Policy Committee establishment, elections, meetings and minutes — you maintain oversight without the administrative complexity.

How does group insurance differ from individual insurance?

Group insurance is arranged on a collective basis for your employees, typically at significantly lower rates than individual retail policies. Cover is often available without full medical underwriting (up to certain limits), making it more accessible for employees who might otherwise struggle to obtain individual cover. It is also a valuable retention tool — employees often value it highly even if they rarely think about it day-to-day.

What employee education do you provide?

We provide onsite and virtual education sessions on topics including retirement planning, investment fundamentals, building wealth, debt management and estate planning. We can tailor topics to your workforce profile — for example, a younger workforce might benefit from home buying and wealth creation sessions; an older workforce might be more focused on retirement transition.

Can AGS provide individual financial advice to our employees?

Yes — employees who want personal financial advice (superannuation strategy, SMSF, retirement planning, mortgage broking, insurance, estate planning) can access the full range of AGS services through the same firm. This is a significant benefit over standalone corporate super providers who can only assist with the group arrangement.
