— Wherever you are

The full AGS service,
without the office visit.

We have six offices across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane — but roughly a third of our clients choose to meet with us remotely. Some are based in regional Australia. Some are city-based clients who simply prefer the flexibility of video meetings. Others start with a remote meeting and come in later if they want to.

Remote advice at AGS is not a reduced service. You get the same adviser every time, the same depth of planning, and the same coordinated approach — financial planning, SMSF, accounting, mortgage broking and estate planning integrated under one team, just without the commute.

How does remote financial advice actually work?

We use secure video conferencing (Zoom or Teams) for face-to-face meetings, and share documents securely through our client portal. Most clients find that after the initial meeting, remote advice works just as well as in-person — sometimes better, since there's no commute. Your adviser is still the same person every time, and the advice is just as personal.

Are there any services that require an in-person meeting?

Almost everything can be done remotely. Occasionally, for complex estate planning involving formal document signing, you may need to attend a local solicitor — but we coordinate this for you. For everything else — financial planning, SMSF, accounting, mortgage broking — remote works well.

Do remote clients pay more?

No. Our fees are the same regardless of whether you meet with us in person or remotely. We agree all fees in advance and in writing before any work begins.

I'm based in a city with an AGS office — should I still consider remote advice?

Many clients with a local AGS office still choose to meet remotely some of the time — it's a matter of what works best for you. We're happy for meetings to be in-person, remote, or a mix of both.
