— Do any of these sound familiar?
Most people are making
financial decisions without a plan.
If you recognise any of the following, a financial plan is likely the most valuable thing you can put in place.
You're not sure if you're on track
You're saving and investing, but have no real clarity about whether it will add up to the retirement or outcome you want.
You're missing opportunities
Super strategies, tax structures, investment timing — there are proven ways to accelerate outcomes, but without advice it's hard to know which apply to you.
Your finances feel fragmented
Super here, mortgage there, investments somewhere else, insurance you're not sure about. No single view of how it all fits together.
Big decisions feel risky
Selling a property, retiring, starting a business, receiving an inheritance — without a plan, each decision feels like a gamble.
You've put it off for too long
Every year without a plan is compounding working against you. The right time to start was last year. The second-best time is now.
You want someone you can trust
Not a salesperson. A qualified, experienced adviser who understands your situation and tells you what you actually need to hear.
— The AGS difference
Your plan.
Your whole picture.
Most financial planners give you a financial plan. What they can't give you is a plan that is automatically coordinated with your accounting, your mortgage, your super and your estate — because those are handled by different firms who never talk to each other.
At AGS, your financial planner, accountant and mortgage broker are on the same team. That means your investment strategy accounts for your tax position. Your retirement plan accounts for your mortgage payoff timeline. Your super strategy accounts for your estate. Everything fits together — because it was designed to.

— How it works
Simple, clear,
personalised.
Here's what to expect when you start working with an AGS financial planner.
-
Free initial consultation
We meet, talk through your situation and goals, and explore whether there's a good fit. No cost, no obligation. You'll leave with clarity on the next step.
-
Understand your situation
Once engaged, we gather the full picture — super, investments, debts, income, expenses, insurance, goals and timeline. The better we understand your situation, the better your plan.
-
Your tailored financial plan
We create a clear, written financial plan covering strategies, investment recommendations, projections and the rationale behind every recommendation. We present and explain it — no jargon.
-
Implementation
At your pace, we implement the plan — handling as much of the administration as possible on your behalf so you don't have to become a financial expert to act on good advice.
-
Ongoing reviews
Your plan evolves as your life does. Most clients review annually, though the right cadence depends on your situation. Markets change, legislation changes, life changes — your plan should too.

How much does financial planning cost?
Fees depend on the complexity of your situation and the work involved. We agree all fees in writing before any work begins — so there are never any surprises. Your initial consultation is free. After that, we provide a clear, fixed-fee quote before you commit to anything.
Do I need a minimum amount of money to work with AGS?
No. We work with clients at different stages — from those just starting to build wealth to those managing complex multi-million dollar portfolios. What matters more than your current balance is whether you're at a stage where advice will add meaningful value.
How is an AGS financial planner different from using a robo-adviser or going direct?
Robo-advisers and online platforms handle investment execution. What they can't do is coordinate your super strategy with your tax position, structure your insurance around your estate plan, or integrate your mortgage into your wealth plan. That kind of coordinated, whole-of-situation advice requires a human adviser — and at AGS, that adviser works with your accountant and mortgage broker on the same team.
What if I already have an accountant or mortgage broker I want to keep?
That's no problem. You can engage AGS purely for financial planning and keep your existing accountant or broker — we'll coordinate with them directly (with your permission) so your plan, tax position and lending still work together. The integrated approach works whether your other professionals sit inside AGS or outside.
Are you a fiduciary? How do you get paid?
AGS advisers are licensed financial planners who are legally required to act in your best interest. We charge advice fees, which are presented and agreed with you upfront before any work begins. Where a product involves a commission (such as some insurance), this is also disclosed and offset against fees where applicable.
How long does it take to get a financial plan?
Typically 4–8 weeks from first meeting to a written plan, depending on the complexity of your situation. Implementation then happens over the following weeks and months, at a pace you're comfortable with.
