The Melbourne office was established when AGS planner Erik Becejski relocated to Melbourne with his family — a move that planted the firm's first roots in Victoria. The team grew with Clare Boadle joining, and expanded again when Heath Banfield joined following AGS's acquisition of Terry Banfield's Superworks business on Terry's retirement, bringing across a strong SMSF-led client base. Today the Melbourne team works from York Street in South Melbourne, with Erik, Clare and Heath splitting work between the inner-southern and bayside client base, retiree and pre-retiree clients moving in from regional Victoria, and the Sydney-based AGS clients who maintain investments or family in Victoria and prefer a local point of contact.

The Melbourne office grew organically from within AGS. It began with the family relocation of then-AGS planner Erik Becejski, and was later strengthened by Clare Boadle joining the team. The office expanded further when Heath Banfield joined following AGS's acquisition of Terry Banfield's Superworks business on Terry's retirement — bringing additional clients and expertise into the Melbourne team.
Where exactly is the South Melbourne office located?
We are at Ground Floor, 68-72 York Street, South Melbourne — on the corner of York and Clarendon Streets. It is easily accessible by tram (Clarendon Street routes), bus, and by car with metered parking on York Street and 1.5-hour free parking at the nearby Woolworths and Aldi car parks.
Do Melbourne clients have access to the full AGS service offering?
Yes. The full AGS service range — financial planning, SMSF, accounting, mortgage broking and estate planning — runs through the South Melbourne team, with firm-wide specialists behind them.
